Hi! My name is Ivo, an amateur photographer from Manchester, UK! I tend to specialise in urban and travel photogrpahy but in practice I touch on everything, whenever I can. Here is a little bit about myself and my photography journey:

As of 2025, I have been taking pictures in some form or another for about eight years, when I got my first camera, (an old Canon Digital IXUS 80 IS point and shoot) before a family holiday to Venice, where it promptly broke within 48 hours of our arival. Nevertheless I remained intrested in photography, using my dad's phone to persue my hobby until I was old enough to get my first true DSLR, the Canon EOS 100D. I love this camera and took it everywhere with me, cultivating a true passion for the art and growing my skills. I then upgraded to a Canon EOS 77D, the camera I use today, a few years later. I edit using Lightroom and have rescently delved into some more complex and intresting styles of editing using the app's more creative features, seen prominently in some of my Manchester cityscape images. I hope to keep improving my photography skills in the future, especially those to do with editing and post-processing.

I love photography, and think it offers a new sense of appreciation for life, and all that lies around you. The 'eye' of a photographer has often been discussed, and how via photogrpahy one can learn to see beauty in the mundane, and accordingly one of the things I love most about my hobby is how it gives such a deep insight into the glorious chaos that we are all surrounded by. I hope to continue with photogrpahy for many years to come, and made this humble website to chronologue it. Thank you for paying it a visit!
